The Wesleyan Summer Grants program provides funding to help students offset costs associated with career-related summer experiences. Students submit an application describing their experience and how it supports their post-Wesleyan career goals. Eligible experiences include internships, volunteer work, research, independent research/projects, academic programs, and entrepreneurial ventures. Awards of up to $5,000 may be used for expenses such as housing, food, and transportation.
Application Windows:
- February 9th – March 26th at 11:59 p.m. – Open for students on need-based financial aid only
- April 1st – April 23rd at 11:59 p.m. – Open for all Wesleyan students (students on need-based financial aid are still prioritized)
Applications not selected during the first window will automatically be considered in the second (students may not reapply).
To apply, students must have:
- An approved resume on Handshake
- A confirmed summer experience
