For Your Consideration When Building a Class Schedule
- Be open to new academic areas, including those you may not have explored at your last institution.
- Aim for a balanced and enjoyable schedule.
- Check the Academic Road Map for majors with early requirements.
- No idea where to start? You may find this exercise helpful.
After this round of registration closes, you’ll be assigned up to two courses and have an opportunity to adjust your schedule and add classes when you meet with your liberal arts advisor in September.
Coming July 31: Your Liberal Arts Advisor
Your liberal arts advisor is visible to you in Stellic on July 31. You’ll meet with this advisor during orientation to discuss and finalize your courses. Advising at Wes goes beyond course selection. You play a major role in your own educational path, though you are not expected to do it alone. Our liberal arts advisors guide you through decisions, helping you discover what is uniquely best for you.
